How Al khwarizmi solve Algebra and what the meaning of algebra?
In his book , in order to solve x2 = 40x -4x2
he ( Alkhwarizmi ) , transformed by al -jabr to
5x2=40x
The word algebra comes from the word "al-jabr "
"al-jabr " means (restoration of completion) or generally refers to the removal of the negative quantity from the equation .
"al-muqabala " means (balancing ) refers to the removal of the positifve quantities.
